Of the most important features, Skills will make up most of your combat experience. However, there are also special powers you'll unlock throughout your gameplay. With so many options, you'll have the freedom to choose how your combat style evolves throughout your adventure.

All Of Cereza's Skills

Cereza's Skill Tree During Chapter 6 Highlighting Cheshire Reflect

Cereza's Skills are all non-attacking and meant to support Cheshire. Some skills will be automatically gained, while some will need to be unlocked using the Skills Mirror feature (unlocked during 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Chapter Three).

To purchase skills with the Skills Mirror, you'll need:

  • Onyx Roses
  • Moon Pearls

Onyx Roses are necessary for all skills, while the rare Moon Pearls are used for late🦄r, advanced sജkills like Multi-Bind or most tier-two skills.

The only powers of Cereza's that are not classified as a "Skill" are her abilities to use Dispel when in an illusion and to Absorb power sources after gaining a new Elemental Core.

All Of Cheshire's Skills

Cheshire's Skill Tree In Chapter 6 Featuring Shift Strike

Cheshire's skills are mostly combat-oriented with a few exceptions like:

  • That Way!
  • That Tickles

Like Cereza, there are some skills that are innately learned through progressing in the story, and other skills will need to be learned via the Skills Mirror.

To purchase skills in the Skills Mirror for Cheshire, you'll need:

  • Avalon Drops
  • Inferno Fruits

Much like Moon Pearls, Inferno Fruits are rare items used to help Cheshire learn advanced/tier-two skills. Avalon Drops are necessary for all purchasable skills.

Elemental Core Abilities

All Cheshire Elemental Modes After First Transformation

As you progress through the game, most of the new powers you'll learn are through acquiring Elemental Cores. They are gained in:

Each will allow you to traverse through specifi𓄧c obstacles, absorb new elements to increase your Magic Ga𝕴uge, and deal with specific types of enemies.

Wood Element

Cereza And Wood Cheshire Finds Chest Behind Wall

The Wood Element allows Cereza to Absorb large vines.

Cheshire will gain the ability to use Grab by pressing R. This can be used to:

  • Take away enemy items.
  • Pull objects with handles.
  • Strike/distract foes from afar.

Wood Element attacks are typically in the 'Fast' category - alongside Water Mode Cheshire. They are 'stretchy' and have a longer melee range than other element modes.

When using Wood Mastery, the Bind-Combo creates a circle of wood around Cheshire, followed by a spread of three vines in the direction Cheshire faces.

Stone Element

Cereza and Stone Cheshire Look At Hidden Chest Underground

The Stone Element allows Cereza to Absorb large stones with orange-yellow lines.

Cheshire will gain the ability to use Stomp when pressing R. This can be used to:

  • Stun enemies.
  • Reveal items and creatures underground.
  • Destroy Stone Shields.

Cheshire's Stone Mode has the highest outgoing damage in exchange for its slowest attack speed. He can tank projectiles and, for some of his magic, acts as a shield from lasers.

When using Stone Mastery, the Bind-Combo creates a large shockwave around Cheshire and follows up with a moving wall of stone in the direction Che🦹shire faces that can push enemies.

Water Element

Water Cheshire Using Aquastream To Propel Lily Pad Westward

The Water Element allows Cereza to Absorb circular, blue "water sources" to drain bodies of water.

Cheshire will gain the ability to use Aquastream when pressing R. Aquastream can be used to:

  • Propel Cheshire on lily pads in the opposite direction of Aquastream.
  • Push items out of tubes.
  • Turn spinning mechanisms.
  • Strike items from afar.
  • Douse fire.

Water Mode Cheshire is, like Wood Mode, a fast-paced attacker in exchange for raw damage. Its attacks can throw enemies in the air or trap them mid-air in bubbles.

Thanks to its combo-versatility, it's an exceptional mode to switch into when using Shift Strike.

When using Water Mastery, the Bind-Combo creates a splash around Cheshire before creating three large Aquastreams in a cone in front of Cheshire. After a few seconds, these Aquastreams converge into one powerful stream.

The Water Mastery attack can be crudely aimed while being used.

Fire Element

Cereza Celebrates Cheshire's First Fire Transformation

With the Fire Element, Cereza can Absorb fire sources to turn off nearby fire traps.

When pressing R, Cheshire will be able to use "Pyroblast" to:

  • Melt and burn obstacles or shields.
  • Deal heavy damage from mid-range.

Similar in speed to regular Cheshire, it ranks second in terms of raw damage potential (only after Stone Mode). Attacking in Fire Mode causes explosions around Cheshire for large amounts of damage but has the drawback of decreased visibility.

Fire Mastery allows Cheshire to create a large and extremely powerful AOE explosion around himself after a Bind Combo.

Potions

Full Potion List In Arcane Lantern Concocting Menu

You can play through all of Bayonetta Origins without needing to use a single potion. Concocting them is equally null💧-and-void in most playthroughs thanks to the abundance of potions within chests.

Potions appear to enjoy the effect of Mixing Potency regardless of whether you concocted or found th༒e potion. The game does not appear to distinguish between them.

However, Potions can be extremely useful in combat, with their use being undeniably valuable against some of the game's toughest bosses.

There are four types of potions, and you can have a maximum of nine of each at any time with max upgrad﷽es.

  • Healing Tonic - Heal Cereza (and Cheshire Unbound).
  • Umbran Syrup - Cereza has temporary invincibility and increased Spell Casting speed.
  • Blast Potion - Create a shockwave around Cereza that stuns enemies.
  • Demonic Mist - Give Cheshire an unlimited Magic Gauge for his skills for a short time.
