Exiting the shelter, progress towards the right, then descend the stairs and continue south until you reach a wall where you can climb down. After descending, follow the left side until you encounter a jumping spot. Leap to the other side, and to the left, you'll discover a corpse next to the Atherton's Cache Chest.

Where To Find The Atherton's Cache Key

The key for The Atherton's Cache Chest can be easily missed if you're not paying attention. From the chest location, continue forward and jump to the other side of the road. Keep progressing forward until you reach the shore of the beach.

Descend to the shore and you'll spot a broken wooden carriage not far from you.

Approach the carriage and you'll find a small box on it. Interact with the box to collect the Key to the Atherton's Cache.

Now, simply backtrack to the chest location and use the key to unlock it, allowing you to obtain your new equipment.
