168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden is a new action RPG game that follows the story of two lovers who are Banishers. They explore N♑ew Eden to lift a curse that has befallen the town. As you play, you will unravel the unfortunate fate of these two lovers in New Eden Town, where Antea is mortally wounded and transforms into one of the spirits that she despises.
The game has a complex storyline where you will play as two characters, Antea Duarte and Red Mac Raith. You will traverse through the world of New Eden where you'l🐟l encounter various characters and engage with their storylines. Additionally, you'll be faced with pivotal decisions that will influence the narrative, ultimately shaping Antea's fate.
Understand How Red And Antea Work Together
After completinꦆg the tutorial area in New Eden Town, you will eventually reunite with Antea, who will become a playable character alongside Red.
Both characters have separate health meters, with Red's health bar indicated by white and Antea's spirit bar indicated by green.
Additionally, Red has an orange meter that you can fill by attacking enemies, which allows you to perform a powerful Banish attack.
You can switch between the two characters as you wish, and each character fights differently. Antea deals more damage to possessed corpses, but every time she attacks or gets attacked, it consumes her Spirit meter. Red's attacks can fill this Spirit meter, allow🧸ing you to switch between the characte𝓡rs during combat.
Using a Decoction will heal both Red and Antea.
As you progress through the story, Antea will gain new Manifestations, which are powerful skills that can be used both in combat and in the open world. These skills can help Red reach certain locations that are locked behind specific Manifestations.
If you come across a location that requires a Manifestation you don't have, it will be marked on your map so you can♔ return l🌳ater when you have the required skill.
Glowing Rings Mean Nearby Attention Needed
Speaking of Red and Antea, both of them can handle different aspects of the game. Many times, the rings on your right hand will glow and produce a sound cue, indicating which character you can use o꧋r interact with a nearby item.
If the glow is red, there is usually a ritual site nearby or an item for the Cursed Chests that you need to pick up using Red. On the other hand, if it glows green, there is either a hidden item that only Antea can reveal or an area that requires a Manifestation in order to progress.
These cues can be help♔ful to keep an eye on, as they might guide you to something you might have missed.
Choices Do Matter
In the game, you'll encounter many choices, and while some may have smaller impacts, the most crucial ones occur after completing a Haunting Case or during a main story quest.
Upon finishing a Haunting Case, Red and Antea face important choices that significantly impact the story and, ultimately, Antea's fate towards the end of the game. These choices are made at the Closure of a Haunting Case or a specific main storyline, offering three options:
- Blame: Choosing Blame sacrifices the settlers, resulting in their death. However, in exchange, you gain essence for Antea, aiding in the Resurrection ritual for her.
- Ascend: This option is related to the ghost haunting the settler. Choosing Ascend involves gently letting the ghost ascend from the world.
- Banish: This option aligns with the characters' status as Banishers. Opting for Banish involves performing a Banishment ritual on the ghost.
These are the most important choices that will significantly influence the story and Antea's fate, so choose carefully.
Haunting Cases Are Important
Think of Haunting Cases as side quests in this game, and they are displayed on the map with a green color. After completing the first one in the first few hours of the game, you will come across many more. These Haunting Cases involve investigating a haunted settler to bring closure. Each Haunting Case is unique in its way of telling the story of the people related to it, but ﷽completing them is what matters the most.
Completing a Haunting Case involves making one of the choices mentioned earlier which will affect the story. Not only that, you also get a good amount of XP after finishing them and an Essence point.
These Essence points are required to unlock Antea's new skills from the Evolution menu, which acts as the skill tree in the game. Antea's skills are usually powerful, as she embraces her spectral nature, and they come in handy when it comes to combat.
After some time from completing a Haunting Case, you will usually receive a follow-up short side activity that you must complete in order to mark the case as Solved in the Haunting Cases menu.
Don't Worry Too Much About Skills
Speaking of combat, in the Evolution menu, you will have two types of skills that you can unlock for both Red and Antea. Red gains skill points from leveling up, and Antea gets essence after completing a Haunting Case. With these two resources, you will be able to unlock skills according to your preference. For example, Red's skills are marked in red, and Antea's skills are marked in green.
The game encourages you to enjoy the story without worrying too much about picking the perfect skills, as all of them are viable. It allows you to reset your skills whenever you want. While each branch of the skill tree can only have two active skills that are connected, you are free to switch betweeౠn them in any order you want.
If you click on a skill that is already active, you will get refunded for that point, allowing you to use it in a different sec💝tion of the skill tree.
Although the Evolution menu starts small, as you progress in the game, you will unlock more of it. So don't worry if you pick the wrong skills or don't like a specific one, feel free to experiment with all of them until you find the ones that suit your playstyle ♏the💃 most.
Understand Your Rituals Banisher
As you progress through the game or a Haunting Case, you'll come across different rituals that you'll need to perform. There are mainly three rituals that you'll perform constantly at the beginning of the game, and later on, two more will be added, making it a total of five rituals. These rituals are:
- Harkening: This ritual reveals an echo. When performed, you can watch a scene from the past that can't be seen in the present. You'll usually use this one during your Haunting Cases as part of your investigation.
- Make-Manifest: This one is about forcing a ghost or a specter to appear. It can be used on different occasions, such as revealing the ghost of someone being haunted. If you reach a Nest or Elite site in the game, you'll have to perform this one to force the specters to come out and fight them to complete that location.
- Summon Scourge: Summoning a scourge allows you to force a scourge to appear, which is a powerful form of specter. This can be used in Scourge sites in the game and other parts during the main story.
- Unbounding: The Unbounding Ritual is unlocked after making progress in the game; it's exclusively used in Cursed Chests once you acquire all three materials for it.
- Void Traveling: Another ritual that will be unlocked during the game which will allow you to either enter or exit a Void Breach site.
All these rituals require resources, and performing the wrong ritual will still cost the necessary materials.
Therefore, it's important to understand how all 🎃of them work to avoid wasting resources.
Each ritual site in the game, whether it's a Nest, Elite, Scourge, or Void Breach, will have a Spectral Malevolence, which can be seen at the bottom of the screen in the menu for choosing which ritual to perform. These are combat modifier rules that will push you to use the specific rule they apply if you want to deal more damage to the enemies.
So make sure you read that one out and do what it says if you want to survive; otherwise, you'll do so little damage that yꦍou'll barely harm the spectral enemies.
Gather All The Resources You See
In addition to using resources for rituals, you'll need them to upgrade your gear in the game. Fortunately, all the resources in the game have a shimmer or glow, making it easy to identify their locations and gather them. Therefore, make sure to collect all the resources you come across, as you'll need a substantial amount for upgrading all your equipment anꦫd performing the three main rituals in the game.
Besides the world resources, you'll encounter many chests as you explore New Eden, and these often contain valuable resources. Enemies also drop their own spectral resources, so be sure to gather those as well.
A useful tip we have discovered is that you can attack or roll over the wooden barrels and boxes that are scatt🦩ered t♌hroughout the game. Doing so will usually yield additional resources and currency.
Additionally, you will encounter many hanged corpses. Once you obtain your rifle as part of the story, be sure to shoot the yellow glowing spot in order to drop them and obtain the items they carry. Sometimes, they may even have a key to a locked chest nearby.
Don't Upgrade Your Equipment Too Soon
In the early stages of the game, you may find it difficult to combat specters and enemies. You may be tempted to upgrade your items quickly, but we advise against it. If you take your time and explore the map, you will find a lot of new gear and equipment that come with a passive skill that adds an ability to both Red and Antea.
If you come across a gear that you like, and its passive suits your playstyle, you can upgrade it. However, upgrading low-level gear requires more materials than upgrading high-level gear. Therefore, i🅷t is important to give it some 🌞thought before you make a decision to upgrade your gear, especially in the early stages of the game.
Keep in mind that specific regions contain certain resources, and upgrading too quickly may lock you out from furt🌃her upgrades.
The materials that you will need might only be available in anoth𝔉er region of the game that you haven't reache🌃d yet.
Exploration Is Very Rewarding
The New Eden map is vast; the more you explore it, the more secrets you uncover. Your goal should be to explore the question marks on the map as they usually have useful items and gear. Many of them contain Locked Chests, for which you need to find the key nearby.
You may also come across multiple ritual sites where you can gain XP and useful items after fighting some enemies. And then there are Cursed Chests which require you to find three items nearby to unbind it and get new equipment, and many more locations to find.
It is important to explore and enjoy the different regions of New Eden, not just focus on the main story, as this will help you find useful items to fight the Nightmare and lift the curse, Banisher.
