Eveꦿrything starts with character creaꦿtion. You have six classes defined as martials: Barbarians, Fighters, Rogues, Paladins, Rangers, and Monks.

Rogues and Monks have too many features that rely on Dexterity instead, so we'll remove them from our conversation. Rangers can work with Strength, but their builds tend to go with Dexterity as well, leaving Barbarians, Fighters, and Paladins as the ultimate choices.

Barbarians have the easiest time maintaining consistent damage with every strike,⛎ especially with the proper feats. Fighters and Paladins can reach the same leve🔯l of damage but may miss their attacks more often for not having Reckless Attack.

Still, Fighters - especially Battle Masters - shine 🌸by being able to cause more effects on the opponent with strikes and avoiding damage, while Paladins can use spell slots to make a particular strike hit harder, being capabl꧒e of even taking a boss out in one or two rounds of combat.

We have sad news for the Human Fighters: They are not a good choice for these builds. Their racial features consist of weapon and armor proficiency for the most part, and you'll get all of that simply by getting one of the classes we mentioned above. Humans are good spellcasters here.

The first good option would be Dwarves, specifically Gold Dwarves or Duergar. Gold Dwarves will give you extra health as you level up, being a decent tank option, while Duergar can increase their size and cause more damage🧔 - they can also turn invisible, which is unrelated, but helpful. They both get resistance to poison, which is always beneficial for characters who stay on the frontline.

Dragonborns are not the best race overall, but you have good control of which resistance you'll get, making them another good option. In contrast, Tieflings make particularly good Paladins, as they get fire resistance and free-use spells that rely on their Charisma, and Paladins will require those by default.

Lastly, you have the Githyanki and the Half-Orcs. The Gith won't make you hit harder or more resistant, but they increase your mobility, which can come in handy as Strength-based characters need to reach their victims to attack them.

But our top recommendation is the Half-Orc, who can stay conscious with one hit point when your health is dropped to zero and get an extra damage die whenever you do a critical hit, making an already bad situation for your enemies even worse. Or make a Halfling, the joker of races, as they're good with any class.

Let's talk about weapons and armor. Barbarians don't need to worry about armor. However, they can still use it, and depending on your Dexterity and Constitution scores, it may be better, as these abilities define your AC (armor class) for them. As for Fighters and Paladins, we recommend heavy armor unless you find some magical light/medium armor with an outstanding benefit.

For weapons, it depends on whether you want to balance your offense and defense or just hit as hard as possible. A balanced option would be a one-handed weapon and a shield to ensure you won't be hit as often when you charge toward enemies.

The Dueling fighting style helps your damage here, as shields don't count as weapons, thus allowing the Dueling effects to take place.

You could ditch your shield and fight with two weapons, though, but dual-wielding isn't very efficient, and you can use feats to make better attacks with your bonus action.

Otherwise, a two-handed weapon is the best option for ultimate damage, with 2d6 or a d12 for the damage dice - and if they're magical weapons, they'll likely have a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:secondary damage type, making them even stronger.

The Great Weapon fighting style will prevent your damage from being too low, but it doesn't make that much difference. Instead, you could get something like Defense to make sure your AC isn't so bad.

A level 12 Fighter can attack for times with this, and that's not considering their Action Surge or them being hasted.

Unarmed strikes use a straight one plus your boꦛnuses instead of rollingℱ a die, but you can also use this bonus with improvised weapons or get a Monk level to turn your hits into a d4 - or you could make a strength-based Monk using this feat.

For defense, we recommend Heavy 💦Armor Master, Medium Armor Master, Shield Master, or Tough - whichever fits your build best. Some of those increase your ability sco꧙res, too, which makes the feat also increase your damage in the process.

Your ability score bonus only changes when reaching an even number. That means it doesn't matter whether your Strength is 16 or 17; the bonus will be +3, and it'll only increase when reaching 18-19.

That's unnecessary because the maximum is 24, and not 25 (which wouldn't make a difference anyway), making a +1 useless. Still, you can get to 20 faster using this boon or increase another ability score you left at an odd number.
