How To Speak With Animals
You can speak with any animal creature through the use of these methods:

With any of these methods in hand, you can freely speak with any animal like you would a person. Some will have di♔alo𓆏gue options, others will merely give you a line or two before dismissing you.
The Speak with Animal Spell can be learned by these classes:
- Barbarian (Wildheart only)
- Bard
- Druid
- Ranger
- Paladin (Oath of the Ancients only)
- Warlock (Beast Speech invocation only; does not expend spell slot)
Both it and the Potion of Animal Speaking last until your next Long Rest.
The Potion of Animal Speaking is genﷺerally sold by random merchants. It is currently unknown if thi♚s will eventually be a craftable item.

There are a few animals worth noting to speak with in your early encounters. While this does not nearly encompass all the notable conversations, these will open opportunities for new areas and possible companions.
