As of today, there is an in-game mod manager and modding toolkit which can be downloaded on Steam, allowing you to more easily tweak your game. However, the mod manager is not live on console as "it's going to take a little longer to get this patch through all the necessary technical checks and requirements"; Larian predicts that it will be ready in October for those on PlayStation, Xbox, and Mac.

The mod toolkit is also not live on PC yet, but "will become available later today." In the meantime, there are a few new evil endings to dig into. We'll have to find out more for ourselves.

Larian Worked With Modders On Patch 7, And Mods That Require Script Extender Should Still Work

A lot of mods require the script extender to function, but thankfully Larian Studios worked with🐎 its creator Norbyte alongside several other modders to ensure that their mods will remain compatible with the new toolkit.

Some third-party mods will inevitably break with the update as is always the case. Larian advises uninstalling these if you run into any issues to ensure that it's not a problem with Patch 7 itself.
