168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Baldur's Gate 3 has firmly established itself as an absolute all-timer, and we'll probably be talking about its impact on the games industry for many years to come. While developer Larian Studios has already explained that it's moving onto something completely different, we'll likely get another Baldur's Gate game in the future due to the success of the third game and the ever-rising popularity of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dungeons & Dragons. It would be baffling if they didn't.

With the inevitability of Baldur's Gate 4 at some point in the distant future, fans have recently been discussing which characters and companions they'd like to see show up in a sequel, similar to how both Minsc and Jaheira appear in Baldur’s Gate 3. Reddit user KozaSWD started the discussion on the Baldur's Gate 3 subreddit earlier this week, sharing their opinion on how possible it would be for the likes of Astarion, Wyll, Karlach, and others to stick around.

Interestingly enough, a majority of the fans hope that Larian keeps all of Baldur's Gate 3's companions contained within their own game. As one user points out, the fates of your companions very much hinge on your decisions throughout Baldur's Gate 3, and some can even die depending on what you do. For example, if you set off a Gale bomb to defeat the final boss, yet he turns up in Baldur's Gate 4, your choices in the previous game would feel a little pointless.

Given just how many people have been using the Gale nuke to beat Baldur's Gate 3, especially in H൩onour Mode, we can probably take i🤪t as his canon ending at this point.

However, there do seem to be a few general NPCs that fans would like to see return, and two popular picks are Arabella and Mol. Both of these characters are plucky Tiefling children that you first meet in Act 1, and as Reddit user Ythol points out, both characters would be adults in a potential Baldur's Gate 4. It would be interesting to see how both of them develop as characters over the years, with some suggesting Mol could be the leader of a Thieves Guild or a crime lord in need.

There are a couple more shouts for some fan-favorite characters to make the leap, with Withers being put forward by AnaTheSturdy. He's already pretty old, and I doubt a few more decades would matter in the grand scheme of things, so it's possible. DurgeToDance also mentions Popper as a character who needs to return, and I couldn't agree more. Let that adorable little Kobold give his treatos to a whole new generation of people, Larian. Make it happen, or we riot.
