If you’re feeling cheeky today and wish to go against the Baldur’s Gate 3 gods’, you have quite a few options.

11 Tyr

The God Of Law And Justice

Baldur's Gate 3 Oathbreaker Paladin

Though you can’t interact with Tyr in Baldur’s Gate 3, his presence is felt everywhere. The god of ju𝓀stice guides the lawful characters to valiant acts and resents oathbreakers, and Paladins are the one class that’s watched over by Tyr with special care. That’s why the easiest way to go against this god is as a Paladin.

By breaking your Oath, you can openly defy Tyr, and it’s quite a popular practice i🍎n the Baldur’s Gate region. In Act ♏One, you can meet Anders, a Paladin of Tyr who broke his Oath to serve the devil Zariel; in Act Two, you face Ketheric Thorm, the Oathbreaker who has changed many masters. Flipping off Tyr is really quite popular.

10 Selune

The Goddess Of The Moon

Dame Aylin bringing her sword down on an enemy in Baldur's Gate 3.

There are quite a few places where you see the traces of the eternal battle between the Moonmaiden’s followers and those of her sister Shar in Baldur’s Gate 3, but Act Two is the pinnacle of it all. In the Shadow-Cursed Lands, consumed by Shar’s darkness, Selune’s power is the only❀ thing that can keep the ghastly monsters at bay.

It’s also 🐟in Act Two that you can severely undermine the Moonmaiden. The Last Light Inn is protected by Isobel, Selune’s cleric, and her death is a tough blow for the Lady of Silver. If that’s not enough for your unholy playthrough, you can also kill Dame Ailyn, Selune’s daughter. The Moonmaiden might never recover from that!

9 Shar

The Goddess Of Darkness And Loss

Shadhowheart and the Player reach the pool to enter the Shadowfell in Shar Gauntlet.

Should you🍃 fancy Selune more, you can always join her fight against her🌳 dark sister Shar. Playing a crucial role in the events of Act Two and Shadowheart’s storyline, the Lady of Loss rules over the Shadow-Cursed Lands and takes joy in tormenting the poor souls who came to her for help or just happened to stand in her way.

On a morally good Baldur’s Gate 3 playthrough, you’re bound to go against Lady Shar on many occasions. By freeing Dame Ailyn instead of killing her, cleansing the Shadow-Cursed Lands, and robbing Shar🉐 of her proudest achievement — brainwashing Shadowheart — you’ll turn✤ the Lady of Loss💎 into the Lady of L’s.

8 Mystra

The Goddess Of Magic

Baldur's Gate 3 Mystra in her dimension

It’s hard to overestimate Mystra’s importance as she’s the one o༒verseeing the Weave and granting all mortal mages their aꦑbilities. According to Gale, Mystra also prevents mortals from becoming too powerful which, in his eyes, is nothing but gatekeeping those with ambition. To defy Mystra, you’ll need to play with or as Gale.

The Wizard of Waterdeep is still in love with his former mistress but has fallen out of her graces. It’s possible to try and make up to Mystra, but you can also go completely against her will by using dark magic as Gale, refusing to use the Netherese Orb to blow up the Absolute, and even 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:helping Gale ascend to godhood.

7 Vlaakith

The God-Queen Of Githyanki

Baldur's Gate 3 Player Speaking To A Proyection Of Vlaakith

Vlaakith is an interesting deity. While she’s worshiped as a goddess by the githyanki and has near-divine powers, she isn’t♔ quite there. The Leech Queen is a powerful undead who consumes the essence of her greatest warriors to fuel her abilities and spreads lies about Orpꦰheus to keep her position among the githyanki.

After learning the truth about Vlaakith, it’s quite tempting to flip her off, and you can do it by rejecting her offer, helping Lae’zel defy her former mistress, and freeing Prince Orpheus. But keep in mind that the Leech Queen is incredibl🀅y powerful and, unlike real gods, isn’t bound by AO. Be too rude, and she’ll instantly kill you!

6 Jergal

The Original God Of Death

Withers speaks to guests at Patch 5 epilogue party with cup in hand in Baldur's Gate 3

Long ago, Jergal was the god of death — until he made a mysterious deal with the ambitious mortal men later known as the Dead Three. Jergal gave some of his divine powers to them and went on a little vacation but kept a close e𒁏ye on his successors. In Baldur’s Gate 3, Jergal helps you fight the Dead Three’s Chosen as Withers.

Discover more about Bane, Bhaal, and Myrkul.

Siding with Bhaal as the Dark Urge and choosing the evil enꦫding is quite a blow for old Jergal whose ambition was to prevent the Dead Three from world domination. But if🅠 you like Withers and only want to defy him just a little for the kicks, feel free to steal your hard-earned gold back from him at camp. The god of death doesn’t mind.

5 Myrkul

The God Of Death

A heavily armored Ketheric Thorm with his arms raised, standing near an ominous, foggy pit.

One of the Dead Three, Myrkul inherited a fracture of Jergal’s power and became a quasi-deity, the new Lord of Bones. Like his two 'colleagues,' Myrkul is ambitious and constantly seeks to grow his influence which, in Baldur’s Gate 3, manifested in his deal with Ketheric Thorm and the attempt to dominate the w🌟orld via his Chosen.

You can’t miss the opportunity to defy Myrkul, since, in the Act Two finale, you’ll face off against Ketheric Thorm, ♔his Chosen. At some point, the 𒐪Lord of Bones himself will try to crush your party as the Apostle of Myrkul. If beating the god of death in a fight isn’t enough for you, you can also kill Izobel, who he brought back from the dead.

4 Bane

The God Of Tyranny

Gortash Speaks With Off-Camera Orin During Act 3 Cutscene In Baldur's Gate 3

Another Dead Three member, Bane chose hate and tyranny as his domain. Bane appeals to people’s lust for power and indifference to others’ sufferings, and his Chosen — Enver Gortash — is the perfect manifestation of the 🗹Lord of Darkness. Unlike Myrkul, you don’t have to go against Bane and his Chosen… But you can!

Should you choose to fight Gortash, you’ll bring down both the Chosen and the Avatar of Bane when the Lord of Darkness joins the battle. After the battle, you can cast on Gortash’s corpse to talk to Bane directly. The god of deaꩵth will share that Gortash’s soul will pay for the way you humiliated him.

3 Bhaal

The God Of Murder

Baldur's Gate 3 Orin talking to the player in the Bhaal temple

The most notorious deity of the Dead Three, Bhaal is the god of murder whose obsessiꦦon with power led him to establish the most dysfunctional family in Faerun. His Bhaalspawn have been terrorizing the Sword Coast for ages and played crucial roles in all the Baldur’s Gate games. In BG3, Bhaal is even more prominent.
