What Is The Shadow Curse?
As soon as you step foot into the darkness, your character has a debuff. With each "turn," your character will take damage until they die. You cann💧ot waltz through the shadows wit🐈hout meeting your end.
Every living thing needs light to traverse this area except the shadow monst♍er𒅌s lurking within the realm itself.
When such Shadows attack you, you have a disadvantage against them unless they theღmselves are illumin🏅ated somehow.
How To Fix The Moon Lantern
Everywhere you go, people in the game are telling you that you need a Moon Lantern to get through the path to Moonrise Towers. This actually is not true𓆏.
You cannot find a working Moon Lantern before entering the next area. You also cannot fix any broken one you have.
There is a working Moon Lantern, but it is within the shadow-cursed lands, on a grave enemy. You can steal a Moon Lantern after killing Kar'niss in the Shadow Lands.
How To Get Light Protection
There are different ways to protect yourself from the curse as well as different levels. Any light source will protect you from the Shadow Curse. This means torches or spells that cast light.
Th🍨e problem is that some areas within the Shadow Lands are too dark for even r🅺egular light to pierce. This is when you need stronger protection from greater light sources.
You should seek out stronger protection because you are at a disadvantage having to carry a torch around.
You might end up in combat with a creature, and you won't be able to perform any of🍎 your regular𒆙 attacks because you won't have a weapon equipped.
