Liam is one of the last surviving members of Aradin's crew who was captured by the goblins during their expedition to find the Nightsong, a valuable treasure that is mentioned throughout the first act of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Baldur's Gate 3. How To Save Liam In The Shattered Sanctum
You can save Liam from Spike by picking any of the following dialogue options and methods. Of course, you'll have to pass the reဣlated checks.

[Illithid] [Wisdom] Leave, both of you.
- While this is a simple way to get rid of Spike, it comes at the cost of using the tadpole, so it might not be your cup of tea.

[Deception] Go have yourselves a drink. Your boss sent me to relieve you.
- If you fail this option, you’ll get another chance to free Liam without fighting the goblins.

[Performance] I’m taking over. Your sloppy handiwork is going to kill the prisoner too quickly.
- We don't recommend this route, as it leads to torturing Liam and revealing the Druid Grove location to Spike. This does, however, cause Spike to leave the area. You can then heal Liam with a potion followed by an easy charisma check persuading Liam that it was the only way to get the goblins to leave.

] Read the goblin’s thoughts.
- We learn that Spike is terrified of what the drow leader (Minthara) will do to him if he can’t get Liam to talk. This unlocks the “I’ll take over - unless you want the drow to learn of your failures” line, which causes Spike to leave.

[Insight] Beating him with a club? Really? Sloppy and unoriginal. Stand aside.
- This option is only available to characters that have the Insight skill. You can lead the conversation with Shadowheart if you don’t have this skill. The insight option unlocks the “Look-you haven’t even gone for the fingernails. Amateur!" option. Saying this line causes Spike to leave.
Thanks to the very low Difficulty Class, picking the Illithid option is by far the easiest solution here. If you don't want to use the Illithid pow🤡ers, however, you'll want to pick the option that you have the best stats in.
If you persuade Spike to leave, he will walk to the nearby room to watch Abdirak. You can then free Liam from the rack by selecting the [Sleight of Hand] option. Don’t worry i🐻f🧔 you fail the Dexterity check, as failing has no repercussions.
Questioning Liam
Once Liam is free from the rack, you can question him on Halsin's location and the Nightsong, although he has little information regardi💙💛ng this.
It’s a good idea to exhaust all his dialogue. You♐ can choose to tell Minthara the information later if you decide to betray the Druid Grove, and you'll learn that Halsin had transformed into a bear before being c﷽aptured by the goblins.
Lia𒁃m will then escape the Shattered Sanctum through the narrow path to the southeast of the room.
Of course, you could always just kill Spike and Grush, but this can cause the nearby patrolling goblins to attack you. Once you’ve killed the goblins in the area, you can freely ex🧔plore w꧟ithout other goblins attacking you.
Retreating back to the main room where True Soul Gut can b𝔍e found while in combat will trigger go꧋blins in the area to attack you.
