About Spencer McPhee

Spencer is a guide writer for TheGamer. He began playing vidꦅeo games on his sister's Playstation 1 with a demo disc including Ape Escape, Tomb Raider, Twisted Metal, and more. His love for gaming really took off when he was gifted a Gameboy Advance SP with ꦜa copy of Pokemon Emerald. He still plays Emerald to this day, along with every other Pokemon game, and many other Nintendo and Indie titles. Spencer streams primarily Pokemon games on Twitch and he co-hosts a general gaming podcast called Frostbytes.

Favorite Games

Pokemꦕon Emerald, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Shovel Knight and Balatro are the first few that come to mind. Would love to dive into the Dragon Quest series some more.

I have an up-to-date Living Dex, or fully completed Pokedex, in Pokemon Home. I also have a Generation 3 Living Dex in Pokemon FireRed. Gotta catch 'em all!
