About Robert Haynes

Industry Focus

The Xbox platform is my wheelhouse and I've been on it since the original Xbox launched in 2001. I lean heavily towards FPS and racing games, but as a true gamer, I will play anything.

I broke into serious mobile gaming (iOS) in 2019, and RPGs are my fa🐬💮vortite mobile genre.

Favorite Games

Bethesda softworks is my favorite game developer and it all started with Morrowind. I loved the idea that I could just wander the world and blow off the main quest. My favorite Bethesda franchise is the Fallout Series, with my favorite being Fallout 4. I'm starting to like Starfield.

The Halos, Fables, and Super Mario g❀ames are iconic favorites from my nearly 40 year gaming career, and the Forza franchise is just amꦚazing.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

My greatest gaming achievement was my first one. In November, 1985, my parents gave me a NES for my 7th birthday. It came with the Duck Hunt / Super Mario Bros combo cartridge.

I was only allowed to play 30 minutes a day, and it tooꦰk me over a year, but beating the Super Mario Bros game was the crowning achievement that launched me into a lifelong love of gaming.
