With countless hours spent playing video games ever since Osama Farooq got his hands on a PlayStation 2, he decided to explore the gaming industry in a professional capacity in June 2023. He was ecstatic when Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi made a blazing comeback in 2024, absolutely engulfed in numerous Persona games, and is not exactly too fond of online multiplayer expe𒀰riences that have taken over lately, as he has always be𒁏en at his comfiest playing solo on his collection of PS consoles.

In the realm of video games, Osama has always been more inclined towards gaming experiences that present strong narratives and engulf the player into their immersive worlds. Never really switching brands and sticking with PlayStation consoles since the beginning, he is constantly on the lookout for more titles by developers like Naughty Dog, Insomniac Games, and Santa Monica Studio. Except for online multiplayer gaming, Osama finds himself interested in almost every genre, whether it's a long but worthy JRPG or a brutal survivor horror title, if the story that's being told is compelling, of course.

Favorite Games

The Last of Us Part II simply because it is the most emotionally impactful gaming experience that Osama has ever had the pleasure of witnessing.
Assassin's Creed Revelations because it was Osama's introduction to the long-running series and served as an effective connecting tissue between Ezio and Altair.
Dragon Ball Z: Budo✱kai Tenkaichi 3 because of how much content it used to have for its time, setting the bar way too high for any fut☂ure anime video games.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

It took way longer than a reasonable amount of time, but despite growing to hate the game at one point because of how bloated it was, Osama earned the Platinum Trophy for Assassin's Creed Odyssey and stopped Trophy hunting for good after that.
