Jon Suan is a guide writer from the Philippines. He has been writing guides for a myriad of games of different genres from RPGs like Baldur's Gate to FPS games like Call of Duty. Being a fan of good story and lore writing he loves playing RPGs the most as well as Grand Strategy and Aircraft Simulation games. He often branches out to different genres to give them a fair shake and isn't afraid of trying out something new whether they're point and click adventure games or visual novels.

When he's not writing guides or playing games he enjoys TTRPGs as a forever DM for Dungeons and Dragons. He also enjoys playing Tabletop Wargam𓃲es like Warhammer 40k Kill Team, Victory At Sea and Bolt Action. In-between tabletop games he watches fantasy and isekai animes. Often times he reads on Maritime History from the Age of Sail to the introduction of꧂ Dreadnaughts since he's a big sailing fan.

Favorite Games

While he plays a lot of genres he often enjoys games with complexity or a high learning curve. His favorite RPG is a tie between Morrowind and Fallout🍨: New Vegas. In terms of other genres he also loves playing Hearts of Iron 4 and Vintage Story. When it comes to complex games he challenges himself by trying to learn different aircrafts from IL-2 Sturmovik.

Industry Focus

Jon covers mainly RPGs which is one of the broader genres 𝕴in the industry. Most games have some form of RPG element while others purely focus on it.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

The one that I am most proud of♕ is learning the many tools for sailing in Sailwind. From using the Quadrant to map o🍒ut my Latitude for the first time to learning the different ways you can use a Chronocompass.
