About Ben Javinsky

Ben is a lifelong gamer and a self-described nerd who loves to play everything from Pathfinder: Kingmaker to Stardew Valley to DnD. He has a strong belief in the power of video games and their ability to tell personal, entertaining, and emotional stories. He first felt this with the Mass Effect trilogy when he was a young teenager, before the series took a downword spiral. He hopes the series will make a triumphant return, but he tries to keep a skeptical eye towards the future.

Nowadays, Ben spends his⭕ time trying to absorb as many video games as he can. He dreams about them, constantly thinks about them, and wants to experience all of them. Aside from playing games, Ben works as a writer for TheGamer, writing guides in the hopes of helping and teaching players. We all need a little help sometimes, and Ben has used many a guides in his day for various games. So, he thinks it's time to return the favour.

Favorite Games

Ben's favourite game is the Mass Effect trilogy, specifically Mass Effect 2. He believes it is a masterclass in story and character writing. He's completed the trilogy multiple times. Although, he can never seem to avoid playing a paragon male Shepard. It's high time he plays the entire series as Femshep.

Industry Focus

Ben Javinsky is a Contributor for TheGamer from Canada. He spends most of his time playing video games to create guides for other players to use. He hopes to provide help to as many people as he can on their journey to finishing a game's story or reaching the level of completionist.

In his spare time, Ben plays DnD, reads gaming and tech news, and tries his best to keep a healthy life balance. Though, he doesn't always succeed. Sometimes he sits down to play a game, and seven hours go by without him even noticing. At least, it gives him ample material to use to write future guides.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

Ben is not the most mechanicalဣly skilled at games, even though he has his moments. Despite this, his proudest gaming achievement is one hundred percenting every Batman: Arkham game, which includes finding every Riddler trophy in all four of the enꦡtries.
