Much like the game it pꦍays homage to, Apes on the Loose will have you chasing down apes and catching them in your net.

This stage is a little more free-form, a little more open-con꧋cept, if you will. You will have the opportunity to catch the apes in whatever order you choose, as they will be spread out around a hub area. We'll take you through all of them: ape by ape.

Bot 1

You'll find the Nervous Ape hiding in the second bush on your right. Upon approaching the shrubbery, he'll try to make a run for it, so get ready to swat at him w𝓡ith your net.

Bot 2

After catching the first Ape, you'll run up the glowing wall, and see the next one sitting on top of a crate. Once you take after him, he'll start circling the massive statue in the center of the stage, but you don't have to intercept him or anything (though you can if you like). You run faster than he does. Snag him with your net a�♚�nd you'll have caught the Natural Ape.

Bot 3

Look for the fountain. This ape is hiding behind it. Once you approach the fountain, they will try to ruꦅn away from you by circling it. However, they have to hop over the pipes, which slows them down considerably. Just run 'em do♔wn.

Jigsaw 1

The first jigsaw puzzle piece is hovering above the fountain. Just stand on the central water jet, and you will be propelled up and into the puzzle p🌊ieceꦑ.

Bot 4

The Aerial Ape is hanging on to a UFO bot that is circling the massive rock. You need to get up high enough to smack the UFO, which will send the ape careening to the ground. They'll circle the nearby massive rock after that. The best way to get up to them is by flower.

To get the flower item, look for a massive triangle-shaped platform. Next to it, you'll see a slime sitting on top of a wooden pillar. If you hop on the nearby trampoline, you'll be able to get up to it and take it out. They are covering some cables that you can give a yank to reveal the flower item. Now you can fly right up to that UFO.

Bot 5

Much like with the first ape, you'll find the Crazy Ape hiding in a bush. Look for the platform with nine bushes on it (arranged in a three-by-three grid). The ape is hiding in⛄ the middle bush in the row nearest to the edge of the island.

Bot 6

You'll find a ladder that leads to a giant, glass bridge in between the triangle-shaped platform and the three-by-three grid of bushes. Once you climb up to the bridge, the Sky-Walking Ape will make a run for it across the bridge. Every step you take will shatter a piece of glass. Just hop over any voids and you'll be fine. Once you have cornered him on the other side, he'll ha♈ve n♉o place to run.

Before you go up the ladder, run into the bush to the right of it to find the Golden Butterfly. Catching this (use the rails to grind for speed) will give you the Net Profit Trophy.

Jigsaw 2

While chasing the Sky-Walking Ape down, you'll encounter this jigsaw piece on the right side of the glass bridge. It is pretty hard to miss.

Bot 7

Near the massive ramp, you'll see a slime sitting on a platform. Jump in the nearby trampoline to get up to them, then take them out. Pull the cords under them to reveal a flower. Now, use the flower to fly up to the triangle-shaped platform. The Self-Aware Ape is up here. All you need to do is chase them down. Don't be afraid to leap across the gap to grab them.

Jigsaw 3

This puzzle piece is under the triangle-shaped 🐻platform🐷. Use the flower to fly up and grab it.

Bot 8

You'll find this ape sitting on top of a structure with a massive ramp attached to it. You won't be able to climb up the ramp, so hop your way up the blocks. Naturally, he'll take off running. He started running under the nearby wooden pillars for us. We cut him off and put him i🥃n the net. Where he belongs. And with that, you'll have caught the Goofy Ape.

Bot 9

This Shy Ape is hiding inside a banana crate on top of a mound of mud. The mound of mud is next to the big ramp. Break the c𒀰rate a🌟nd they will make a run for it. Don't worry, they tend to stick around the mud mound area.

Bot 10

Once you have captured the other nine apes, head for the massive statue with a rail coiled around it in the center of the stage. Then, ride that rail all the way to the top. Here you'll see the Albino Antagonist Ape. They will summon two waves of enemies to fight (one group of Bunny Bots, and a group of Spiky Bots accompanied by a Slimy Bot). Once you have bludgeoned them, yankable cords will appear. Give 'em a pull and you will have lit TNT. Toss꧟ it at the Albino ape, and he'll come crashing down to the platform you are on.

The Albino Antagonist Ape runs too quickly for you to catch by sprinting at him, but he alternates between two set positions, so you can anticipate him pretty easily. Start running at him, then double back. This will cause him to run directly i🌳n♐to you. Smash him with that net and you'll be done!
