Assassin's Creed Shadows - The Naginata Assassination Guide

Assassin's Creed Shadows' fourth main assassination is also a personal journey for Yasuke - here's what you need to do t🔴o kill The Naginata.

While Shadows does give you a decent amount of control over how you want Naoe and Yasuke to look, there are a few minor things that go a little unexplained. One great example of♔ this is hiding your gear, which is an easy-to-miss option during customisation.

How To Hide Naoe And Yasuke's Gear

Yasuke after having his gear hidden in Assassin's Creed Shadows.

By default, Naoe and Yasuke will both always be equipped with some kind of headwear from the moment you find your first bit of head gear. However, those pieces of head gear will also always be removed during cutscenes, giving you a glimpse at what they look like without♌ the💎 helmets, hoods, and bandanas.

As it turns out, there's actually a way to remove the hide the headwear from your character during gameplay too, although it's never explicitly explained when you play. All you need to do to hide your gear is head to the Inventory menu, select the gear you no longer want to show up while playing, and then press R2 on PS5 or RT on Xbox.

You can also choose to h🐠ide your body armour as well, al🐭though that does end up looking a little weird for both Naoe and Yasuke.

Once you've done this, the selected bit of armour won't show up on your character, which means you can play as Naoe and Yasuke without a massive helmet or hood hiding their face. Much like applying a customisation option to your weapon or armour once you've unlocked the Forge, hiding your headwear doesn't remove its effects from your character.

Choosing to hide your gear is simply a cosmetic choice you can make i🐲f you want to see more of Naoe and Yasuke during gameplay. It's up to you, but don't worry about ther🔯e being any negative side effects.
