The first thing you can do to remove your wanted status is to change the season. Whenever the season changes in-game, whether automatically or manually by you, any and all regional alerts will be removed.
Pause the game and head to the inventory screen, and you'll see the current season progress meter in the top right of the screen, sho♐wn by a compass.
Whenever you're in the middle of a quest, you won't be able to, but hold right on the d-pad if you can to change the season. That will then remove all wanted statuses. Since you usually won't be able ✃to, you may have to wait until the game changes the season for you, which is normally every few quests or so.
Wanted sta🔯tuses are applied to individual regions on the map. You can also head to 🌺another region if you're fed up of being attacked on site at all times.

- 150 Minerals
Once you've done that, head to the map and hover over the region with the wanted alert. Then, hold X if you're on PlayStation or A if you're on Xbox to remove the alert with a scout. That means you won't have to wait until the🤡 season changes.
