One of the only faux-pas game developers made was with not painting them. In actuality, they would have been pained in bright, colorful pigments and ❀even in some cases wearing fine clothing and jewelry.

Although there are some weapons in Assassin's Creed Origins that 🍃are to our knowledge historically accurate -- s꧙uch as the Khopesh Bayek's sickle-shaped sword of choice -- most we encounter in the game remain contentious.
Bayek's multiple shot bows, bejeweled weapons, and Hepzefa's magical fire sword are all unsurprisingly extremely impractical and historically inaccurate. However, the Cleopatra we meet within Origins is a world away from what history has led us to believe. We also see Silphium, a yellow flowering plant being farmed i🎶n Cyrene. Silphium was used by the Egyptians, Gr🤪eeks, and Romans for perfume, medicine, food seasoning, an aphrodisiac, and even as contraception. The important point to note, however, is that Siphilium became extinct a few hundred years before the Ptolemaic period. Oops.
2 🃏 Gladiator Rings 💦
The arenas in Krokodilopolis and Cyrene allowed players to partake in bloody gladiatorial battles for rewards but remain a completely fictitious minigame than a traditional and accurat🍌e one.
Arena💖 games were never a presence in Ptolemaic Egypt, and although they were within the Roman Empire even then were nev✱er depicted to be the bloody death matches we see in Origins and other popular media. Instead, there would have been gymnasiums where athletes would have practiced javelin, racing, wrestling, boxing, and possibly even archery.

Cleopatra'sౠ seductive and raucous nature was unfortunately not her only inaccuracy, as she and her brother Ptolemy wer𒉰e seen in Origins to be decked out in some less than accurate garments.
Cleopatra is shown in-game to have an Egyptian styled coiffure and midriff-baring dress where in re🍬ality it is thought she wore himation dresses similar to Hellenistic queens alongside jewelry similar to Greek styles. Ptolemy is even seen wearing thౠe Tutumkhamun styled Nemes headdress, although by the Ptolemaic period this had all but died out with rulers instead wearing diadems to signal their royal position.
