First, let's take a look at how to craft cementing paste yourself.
Crafting Cementing Paste
Cementing paste can be crafted at a mortar and pestle. You will need to be level 13 to unlock the engram for cementing paste. To make this paste, combine the𝔍 following materials in the inventory of the mortar and p♉estle.
- 4 Chitin, Keratin, or Shell Fragments
- 8 Stone
The mortar and pestle engram will become available once you are level 6; this means that, if you craft a mortar and pestle right away, you will need to level up a bit before you are able to craft cementing paste. A mortar and pestle can be crafted with the following materials. These materials are fairly simple to gather; all you need to do is mine a few boulde😼rs an🧔d hunt some smaller creatures.
- 65 Stone
- 15 Hide
With a mortar and pestle crafted and placed, add the ingredients for cementing paste into its inventory. Here, yo𝐆u will be able to craft cementing paste directly from the inventory screen.
With the Chemistry Bench unlocked at level 82, you will be able to craft large amounts of cementing paste. To do so, you will need to combine 16 chitin, keratin, or shell fragments and 32 stones. This crafting station is not accessible early in the game, so it's perfectly fine to use your mortar and pestle.
If you have a tamed Equus with a saddle, you will be able to craft cementing paste from here. The Equus saddle is a unique piece of riding equipment that acts as a mortar and pestle. The engram for the saddle unlocks at level 20🐬, so it is more efficient to make an actual mortar and pestle instead. The saddle crafting option is great if you happen to be on the go with no mortar and pestle around.
