In order to discover n✅ew areas of 🐬the map, you may need to solve puzzles that require key items. These key items can be found in various areas of the map, and they'll grant you different abilities that allow you to interact with your environment. You may also be able to interact with creatures using these. One of these key items is the Slink.
How To Find The Slink
The Slink can be found in a chest in the northeast region of the map. The area has a green hue when viewed using your map. You'll need to climb up a ladder that leads to the green area of the map.
Once you make it up, you'll need to keep heading east until you reach a room with several platforms and hedgehogs. From there, make your way to the ladder in the upper left corner of the room.
The hedgehogs will damage you if you touch them, so go around them carefully.
Once you make it up, you'll find yourself in a room with more hedgehogs and two chinchillas. There's a button in the upper area of the room that you need to press, so make your way up the ladder in the upper right corner.
In the next room, head east to an area with a puzzle. You'll need to use the lever underneath the big square structure to manipulate the puzzle and get the hedgehog inside to press all three yellow buttons.
Once you've solved the puzzle, you can make it up the ladder in the room and head west to a ledge with another button you need to press.
You can then head to the west, and you'll find another puzzle inꦓvolving a chinchilla.
This puzzle is easier to solve when you have the Slink, because you'll need to have something pressing on the green button on the platform for you to reach the chest.
You can come back here after yꦿou've found the Slink.
Proceed up the ladder in the room, then unlock the door at the top with a key. Through that door is another button, and pressing it will open up the barriers blocking the path to the bottom of the room.
Before you enter the path that just opened, use the ladder๊ in the upper section of the room to g🦩et to a heart-shaped area with a telephone.
Make sure to save your progress when you reach the telephone because the next couple of areas will have enemies that can kill you.
After you've saved, you can take the path heading south to return to the room with the chinchillas and the hedgehogs. Press the button on the platform you land on to open the path heading west.
Go through the exit in the west to get to the next area, which is a dark room with three shadowy monsters that will appear to attack you. You'll need to scare them off using firecrackers, and one can be found on the ground near the center of the room.
The next area you'll need to reach is west of the dark room, and you'll find a green chameleon boss waiting for you there.
How To Beat The Green Chameleon Boss
The room with the boss has a chinchilla and three buttons you need to press. The buttons are scattered across the room, and you'll need to use the platforms and the tools you have to get to each one.
The boss has two attacks.
- For its first attack, it'll try to grab you with its long tongue. If it misses you, it'll grab whatever it ends up touching instead. This includes the chinchilla.
- The second attack comes after it consumes something. Its eyes will turn red, and it'll throw up blobs of red liquid from its eyes. You'll take damage if this hits you, so keep moving to avoid it.
The button in the upper right corner of the room is challenging to reach, but you can enter the room from the ceiling instead so that you end up on a pla♌tform that can take yo🌳u to the button easily.

How To Use The Slink
To use the Slink you need to equip it as your active tool. Then, press the tool key to drop it on the ground.
If you want to safely select your tools, you can open up your inventory menu and choose your tool from there. Your game will be paused as long as you're in the menu.
Here are all the ways the Slink can be used:
- The Slink can be used as a weight that will push down buttons as long as you're in the room. This is useful for puzzles that require buttons to be pressed at the same time.
- Slinks can also move down steps, as long as it's next to a step going down. This is especially useful for delayed activation of a button, in case you need to get to another part of the room while the Slink makes its way down.
- It'll also go through one-way wooden platforms. You can only jump onto these platforms normally, but the Slink can help you reach buttons found below them.
- The Slink can also be used on puzzles that have boosting blocks. These blocks hop up one or two levels, depending on the number of arrows they have when something lands on them. When a Slink lands on one of these blocks, it'll get lifted and move to the block next to it because it recognizes it as a step.
You can control the direction that your Slink will move in. Face in the direction you want it to move when dropped, and it'll take one step in that direction.
