Spiders are available on the islands in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres all year-round. However, you can only catch them during specific times of the day, making them a little tricky. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Unlike many bugs in the game, spiders cannot be caught out in the open. Rather, you will have to routinely shake trees in order to get a spider to fa༺ll out.

Updated March 27, 2023: Completing your Critterpedia and donating everything to the museum is one of the most common goals you might go for in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. However, not all bugs and insects are easy to find. For some of them, like the spider, you'll need to go out of your way to hunt for them. Here's how you can catch a spider and what you can do with it once you've caught one.

How To Catch A Spider

Spiders can be found in fruit trees and cedar trees, but not palm trees, between 7pm and 8am in any season and any weather.

Shake the trees on your island until you see a spider drop on one side. Equip your bug net, line up your shot, and swing your bug net downward. You shouꦇld catch it.

Don't worry if you miss or if the spider retreats back into the tree. Simply shake it again and the spider will fall back out for you to catch once more.

Tree shaking won't always result in the reveal of a spider. Sometimes, a Bagworm will fall from a tree instead. And many times, shaking a tree will cause a branch to fall down, which can be used in the💜 crafting process.

What Can You Do With Spiders?

Once you have your spider, you can do a number of things with it. When you catch your first one, you'll want to donate it to Blathers at the museum.

You can also sell spiders to Nook's Cranny. Selling it will net you 480 bells, though Flick will purchase it at 720 bells.

Of course, Flick is just an occasional visitor, so if the extra 240 bells are worth it, you can put it on display in your house until Flick's arrival.

Alternatively, you can commission Flick to make a model of the spider to display. You'll need to catch three spiders and give them to him. You'll receive the spider model in the mail the next day.
