Alien Breed is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year having launched in 1991 and, to celebrate, Team 17 has put togetherᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ a remaster for console and GOG.
The publisher showed off the build at EGX London 2021 in Team17's dedicated section which featured other games such as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Broken Roads. It opens at two locked gates by a docked spaceship where you can find two keys for - you guessed it - those two locked gates. From there, you'll find a slew of brown aliens to mow down in this top-down, retro classic.
It was remastered for its 21st anniversary ten years ago, launching on iOS and iPad, but this newest update brings Alien Breed to consoles and GOG as displayed at 🅺EGX.
The game🐷 is set in the far future of 2191 with the galaxy verging on war. Amidst this conflict, you - the player- are sent to investigate a research base only to find a whole host of aggressive aliens ripping the place apart. Imagine a top-down Aliens film chock full of action-packed gunfights down narrow, industrial corridors.
Alien Breed costs £4.39, bringing the classic to modern sys🌞tems at a poultry few pounds, letting you enjoy this top-down shooter on its 30th anniversary without the hassle.
As shown at EGX, the game is co-op meaning you can run through the entire campaign with a friend so if the retro horror elements prove too eerie. However, it's most akin to a top-down Half-Life - a shooter with horror elements.
