The third episode of Ace Attorney Investigations 2: P🌳rosecutor's Gambit is a very compelling one. Not only do you get so see 💖what Edgeworth's father wꦉas like in the past, before his untimely demise, but you get to see what makes newcomer to the series Eddie Fender the man he is today.

Not only that, but Turnabout Legacy has you solving an 18-year-old mystery that proved to be very important for multiple characters and their careers. Naturally, a mystery that remained unsolved for so long has some complexities, so we're on-hand w♏ith a spoiler-free walkthrough right here to save the day.

Investigation: Contest Venue - Tangaroa's Room

After the introduction, which has you taking a step into the past as Gregory Edgeworth and meeting the client of 18 years past, Samson Tangaroa, you'll end up at the Contest Venue -ꦕ 🦩the location of the murder - and begin investigating.

Start by taking a look at the big chocolate ship in the centre of the room and examine the body outline and the broken stand on the ground to the right. After the conversation that follows, examine the ship again and Deduce the missing part of chocolate next to the outline's head and present the Crime Scene Notes to point out a contradiction.

Now, it's time to take a look at the rest of the room. Examine the tableware on the counter to the right and then speak to the man in the top-right corner of the room about everything. When taking a closer look at the framed cookbook, examine the finger marks on the left and then the frame itself. When prompted to show which part of the frame is missing something, present the missing leaf in the bottom-left corner.

To finish, talk to the officers crouched near the stream🎐. With this done, you can start making deductions.

This leads you to the first cross-ex🦩amination of theꦅ episode.

Cross-Examination: Why I Think Tangaroa Did It

1. Present the Crime Scene Notes at the third statement: "And why he smashed in the lid of the treasure chest... so the body was on full display."

Investigation: Contest Venue - Delicia's Room

Begin this investigation by speaking with Delicia Scone over to the right about her two dialogue options, and then head up to the upper-left section of the room to examine this room's temperature controls.

Next, examine the seated fairies towards the back of the room𒀰, and then the big castle. Ex꧂amine the following:

• The empty hexagonal slots.
• The objects inside the castle. After the short scene, pick the rock crystal lamps and the rolls of blue cloth.

We can now make a deduction:

Once the scene changes, examine the elf that has no cloth around it, and then the castle again, taking extra notice of the bloody lamp. While you're here, Deduce one of the lamps and present the Contest Rules to point out a contradiction. We can make more🍸 deductions now.

With these deductions made, you can now go to talk to Scone about the room's temperature. This nabs you one last clue and allows you to make a🧸 final 🏅deduction.

Cross-Examination: The Murder Weapon

1. Present the Luminous Cloth at the fifth statement: "And that is why there was no piece of evidence on the scene that pointed to a particular suspect."
2. When prompted to show the unidentified aspect, present the Frame Finger Marks.
3. To accuse Scone of being a fake, present the Fake Confections.

This will end the first section of this💧 case,✤ and send you back to the present.

Investigation: Zodiac Hall - Winter Wing

While this isn't a full-blown investigation sequence, there are some things to do before we can continue. Examine the temperature controls at the back of the room, then all four ice blocks in the room.

Eventually, you'll enꦰd up finding out what happened through some Mind Chess.

Make the following choices:

1. Present the Poison Gas Ingredients at the second statement: "And the gas the victim was poisoned with is made from Ubiquium, which, as we know, is found in paint."
2. To show how the gas was created, present the Pisces Statue Sketch.
3. To show where the chemicals mixed, present the pink splotch on the ground.

There will be a cons🙈iderable gap betwe🌸en this cross-examination, but you'll be learning quite a lot about the poison gas as you progress.

When you're required to suggest who released the poison gas, present Carmelo Gusto's profile. To show how he opened the case, present the Used B൩lowtorch.

When asked to suggest who might have set things up, present Judy Bound's profile. The next events will send you back to the past.

Investigation: The Past

Before you get into investigations𒅌, yo🃏u'll need to figure out some puzzles:

• When asked to present two items that share a key feature to Judy Bound, present the Seal and Mr. Tangaroa's Teapot.
• State that Mr. Frost was a famed sculptor.
• To prove Ms. Bound took more than two pictures, present the Instant Camera.

After the break, you'll be talking to Tangaroa at the Detention Centre. Boost his energy by presenting him with the Chocolates you have, and then talk to him about everything. After finishing the c🔯hat, you'll head back to the m💙ansion.

Investigation: Contest Venue - Fountain Room

Start this investigation by talking to the officer who is examining the fountain. When prompted, assert that the blood in the water probably belongs to Artie Frost.

Afterwards, talk to Judy about every dialogue option. Thi♋s will end the very quick investigation and lead right to another confrontation♛ with von Karma.

Cross-Examination: Gusto And Frost's Connection

1. Present the Semifinal Entries at the second statement: "It was simply a matter of coincidence. They both happened to be taking part in the same contest."

Cross-Examination: Gusto And Frost's Real Connection

1. Press the third statement: "It seems they were helping one another right up until the day before the final."
2. Present Ms. Scone's Statement at the second new statement: "The two cooperated until the day before the final, then decided to compete on their own merits."
3. Guess that Frost must have made the ice sculptures before the final.

You'll then be forced into a logic section:

When confronting von Karma, show where the blood went by presenting the Victim's Blood. This will end this journey into the past.

Investigation: Zodiac Hall - Fountain Room

Before this investigation back in the present day starts up, you'll be forced to make a guess at whose body was found in the fountain. Present Artie Frost's profile.

Once the investigation begins in earnest, start by talking to the nearby officer and examining the fountain. Then, examine the tea set and cart on the left, taking a closer look at the teacups. Afterwards, examine the stain on the ground and go talk to Larry on the right side of the screen. Present him with the Ceramic Fragment to unlock his dialogue, and then talk to him about e🌱verythinꦬg.

As the dialogue will hint at, it's time now to head to the tea cart again and Deduce the tablecloth, using Larry's Sketches as evidence of a contﷺradiction. After this, make a related deducti🥀on:

After making these connections and talking with Gumshoe, chat to Judy, Delicia, and Eddie about everything they have to say. While talking to Delicia, present her with the Luminous Cloth to open up another dialogue option.

Once all is said and done, make a final deduction𝔉:

3. Say she hid them inside the trolley, underneath the cloth.
4. Suggest that Judy used the Lift Cart.
5. Assert that the body was hidden using the Winter Wing Photo and then present the statue on the left.
6. To show how the body was hidden in plain sight, present the Luminous Cloth.
7. To prove that Ms. Bound did as you claim, present Larry's Sketches.
8. Assert that Judy has the cloth on her person.
9. Assert that Judy's goal was to find the true killer.
10. Decide to make the accusation and accuse Carmelo Gusto.

1. Press the second statement: "The statute of limitations for murder in this country is fifteen years."
2. Ask about his training in Zheng Fa.
3. Present the Statue of Limitations Book at the new statement: "I later went to Zheng Fa to train, and I finally became the best in the world."
