Cross-Examination: What I Remember
- Press the third statement: "I don't remember... I... I just... don't remember anything........."
- Press the new statement: "But... from under the cherry tree... I think I saw... something red..."
- Present the Bigg Building Pamphlet at the new statement: "But... there was someone walking toward me... from beyond the concession stand..."
The clim🍨actic scene will then lead to a proper investigation.
Investigation: Committee For Prosecutorial Excellence Chamber
Begin this investigation by talking to everyone you can - the police officer, Kay, and then Niedler and Hertz. Then, examine the statue of the Goddess of Justice at the back of the room, and the pool of blood at its feet.
Franziska will enter at this point. With her intervention, you'll be able to exౠamine the body: look at the following points:
- The candelabrum.
- The stab wounds.
- The white gloves in the pocket.
- The book next to the body.
- The keycard in the body's right hand.
- The magenta fabric in the coat.
After examining everything, Deduce the scrap of purple fabric and present the Magenta Flower to show a connection. Then, you can mak🐽e a deducti🐼on to end the investigation:

Cross-Examination: Why I Think Kay Did It
- Present the Keycard at the third statement: "She snuck into the Committee chamber looking to do some of her trademark great-thieving!"
Cross-Examination: Kay's Letter
- Present the Coroner's Findings at the fifth statement: "The letter she kept safe in her left chest pocket, which spells out the name of her killer."
- The evidence that points to a different suspect is the Keycard Record.

Investigation: Bigg Building Viewing Platform
Start this investigation by talking to Niedler and Hertz, and then start loo🍷king around. Examine the following:
- The cherry tree on the left.
- The railing next to the tree.
Walk through the centre of the area after these actions and you'll be distracted by a nois🍨e - it'🌃s Kay herself!
After the scene, talk to Kay about everything and then examine the television, which now has a broadcast about the Bigg Building. Examine the lit floor underneath the rooftop park, and then Deduce that lit floor with the Bigg Building Pamphlet as evidence of a contradiction.
With these clues gathered, make the following deduꦜctions:

Investigation: Fifty-First Floor Storeroom
Begin by examining your surroundings. Specifically, take a look at the massive statue and you'll meet an old acquaintance.
You can't talk to Lotta about anything relevant just yet, so examine the following:
- The masks on the back wall. Deduce the empty hook and link it to the Jammin' Ninja Mask.
- The table with dolls on it. Examine the cloth with a star on it and the stuffed toy with a missing horn. Deduce the cloth with the Candelabrum.
- The briefcase filled with money on the right side of the screen.

This will allow you to talk to Lotta. Do so, and present her with the Coroner's Findings once you've exhausted her options and learned about what the ringleader was wear𓂃ing. She won't reveal much, but you can draw it out with a session of mind chess.

Make the following choices:
- "Let's talk about this reasonably."
- Bide my time.
- "She was your apprentice."
- "Tell me what you know."
- "I know your apprentice pretty well."
- "You have a scoop of some kind, don't you?"
- "Is it related to the auction?"
- "So you did hear the sound of something, then?"
- "Is it related to an incident of some kind?"
- "You sneaking in is a problem!"
- "So your scoop is about a murder?"
- "But you did hear something, didn't you?"
- "Were you really "in the middle" of the scene?"
- Bide my time.
- "Tell me more about the incident."
- "I thought you were "honester" than everybody."
- "You can prove it, can you?"
- "There's something you're still not telling me!"
- "You're definitely still hiding something!"

When asked to test areas for luminol, spray it a little further up the ladder than the example luminol patch. Then, you'll have to test more areas for blood:
- Test the wooden box with chains wrapped around it; spray inside the box.
- Test the lift, spraying the bottom ridge of the floor.
Now, we can connect the final clues.

- Present the Elevator Blood at the fifth statement: "The blood on the floor of this room proved my theory! Game, set, and match, Miles Edgeworth. Q.E.D."
- State that the weapon was removed here.
Cross-Examination: Franziska's Latest Theory
- Press the fourth statement: "The killer lay in wait for the victim in the storeroom where the exchange of illicit goods was to take place."
- Present Ms. Hart's Statement at the new statement: "I believe we can reasonably assume that the murder took place after the auction had concluded."
The thrilling conclusion to the Middle part of the case will play out, and the next scene will take place in the Detention Centre. Just take every dialogue choice offered to you and when you gain control, examine everything in the Detention Centre Cell to ꩲproceed until you reach the next Mind Chess 💞battle.

- To show that the murder happened before the individual reached the roof, present the blood on their hand.
- State that this revelation means that the victim survived the attack.
Cross-Examination: What You're Forgetting
- Present the Red Raincoat at the third statement: "That's right. They're from when she was stabbed in the chest by a three-armed candelabrum."
- To demonstrate the contradiction, present the Coroner's Findings.
Cross-Examination: Know Your Place
- Press the fourth statement: "Think about it: The suspect herself has already said she did it."
- To remind Kay of who she is, present her with the Yatagarasu Pin.
- Examine the hole in the side of the cow's head and then the other horn.
- To prove the voices are from the murder, present the Coroner's Findings and point out the words 'burn mark'.
- The revelation is that the ringleader is the killer.
- The evidence that points to the ringleader is the Committee Chamber Blood.
- State you don't have evidence.
Cross-Examination: The So-Called Mistake In The Report
- Press the third statement: ""Me writin' something wrong is about as likely as"-- OUCH!"
- Present the Coroner's Findings at the new statement: "I diligently dictated that report to Florence. Anythin' after that, weren't nothin' to do with me."
- Accuse Niedler of being a co-conspirator.
- State that without two people, it would be impossible to maintain attendee numbers.
- Assert that Niedler hid in the Clothes Box.
- Assert that Niedler stole the victim's clothes.
- Assert that the murder weapon was the auctioneer's hammer and present Ms. Hart's Testimony as evidence.
Cross-Examination: Everything I Know About Ms. Ringer
- Press the second statement: "But we never really had any personal interactions. At least, none that I remember."
- Press the new statement: "Why, I didn't even know about the burn mark on her hand."
- Present the Broken Plushie at the new statement: "Although, I suppose she was always wearing gloves. Perhaps it was to hide that burn."
- State that the killer also has a burn mark.
- To suggest where the burn mark was, present the Ringleader's Appearance.
- To suggest how the burn mark is being hidden, present Nurse Niedler's Statement.
This ends the mystery and solves the case, but the episode only ends after helping Kay reꩵmember everything♏.
When prompted, suggest that Kay's confusion is due to her memories being of two different locations, and present the cherry tree as evidence. Then, when asked to show what suggests someone else's involvement, present the Victim's Letter.
