While A Plague Tale is an undeniable success story for Focus Home, the more recent release of Aeon Must Die! has become mired in controversy after a𓂃llegations of IP theft, unpaid wages, and terrible work conditions arose from several former devs who worked on꧑ the game. Former Limestone employees have accused management and Focus Entertainment of conspiring to steal their game after months of unpaid overtime, to the point where most of the development team left to start their own indie studio.
Unfortunately, the new studio doesn't have the funds to fight a legal battle with Focus, so they've resorted to making their evidence extremely public. Focus and Limestone have denied all wrongdoing.
