6 Things We Wish We Knew Before Playing 7 Days T𒁏o Die

Everything you wish you knew when starting 7 Days to Die ♋but werᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚe too afraid to ask.

The game is stingy with its skill point allocation, granting you four at the beginning and another one whenever 🧸you level up. Resetting your skill points is expensive, and if you misspend, you’ll be waiting a while to correct your errors. Though each attribute – Perception, Agility, Fortitude, Strength, and Intelligence - has its uses, some are definitely better than others.

Updated on August 17, 2024, by Christopher Padilla: After cooking for ten years,7 Days To Die left Early Access for its 1.0 release on July 25, 2024. The game underwent many changes in that time and may yet change in the future since it's still being updated, but it's pretty safe to say that it's more stable now. As such, we updated each Attribute with new details and removed mentions of obsolete features to more accurately reflect the game's current state.

5 Agility

Agility is by no means useless, and indeed, it has some of the best combat ♕and exploration perks in the game, especially if you like to move quickly and quietly. Unfortunately, it’s hampered by its total lack of perks related to technology, economy, or resource-gathering.

This attribute is very newbie-friendly, especially in regards to weapons, since it governs the damage for bows, bladed (non-axe) weapons, and pistols – the earliest and most common weapons you get in the game. The Agility playstyle also makes stamina easier to manage, someth🍸ing newer players might have trouble with.

Light Armor is the best thing to wear if you want to keep mobile and save yoဣur stamina. However, the Medium Armor perk allows you to wear higher defense armors and still retain mobility and stamina.

A full Agility build in a group setting allows you to be the designated fighter or the guy who clears buildi🌜ngs with ease. Still, in solo play, you’ll likely end up living life on a blade’s edge as you try to gather resources faster than you can burn t💃hrough them. To thrive as an Agility main, consider pairing it with an attribute that has a gathering skill. If you plan to loot all your goods and hunt your food, go with Perception. If you plan to farm and get more from your animal kills, go with Fortitude.

4 Fortitude

The attribute of the steadfast and the prepared, Fortitude specializes in living off the land, resisting the elements, and most importantly, not dying. If you want to live like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:an outdoors survivalist, this is the attribute for you. Fortitude has perks that boost your gains from hunting, gathering, and agriculture. It also has Iron Gut, which mitigates the rate at which your thirst and hunger gauges deplete meaning you’re likely never going to go hungry if you go full-Fortitude, especially sin💫ce it also reduces your chances of getting food poisoning.

These perks will help your progreꦐssion in 7 Days To Die and can m♔ake the difference between failure and survival.

Its combat perks are focused on fisticuffs, aided by knuckle weapons and machine guns, which allow you to spray down hordes in a hail of lead. You’re also good at outlasting your foes, since the Healing Factor perk allows you to heal relatively rapidly, gaining a hit point every six seconds at max rank. If all else fails, you can fall back on Rule 1: Cardio, which allows you ♋to regain stamina while sprinting, leaving anyone chasi🌺ng you coughing up your dust as you retreat.

3 ꦍ ♊ Perception

With keen senses and a knack for finding quality items, Perception is the attribute of scavengers, trackers, and hunters. Like Agility, Perception plays nicely with other attribu🌜tes, but unlike Agility, it has a suite of skills suited for a well-rounded and long-lived life in 7 Days To Die. It has a suite of gathering perks that allow you to climb the tech ladder quickly if you also find the relevant magazines. The Scavenger line of perks allows you to find more salvage (Salvage Operations), better loot (Lucky Looter), and more buried treasure easi⛄er (Treasure Hunter).

Perception pairs particularly w𝓀ell with 🎉Agility, since a lot of their perks synergize. For example, the Stealth Perks in Agility allow you to better sneak near your targets and strike them for big damage if they stay unaware, which includes the targets found by Animal Tracker.

Combat as a Perception specialist is focused on non-automatic rifles and spears, as well as explosives. The latter can be used to spectacular effect against hordes, dealing grea𒐪t damage to many enemies at once, as well as stunning and possibly dismembering the survivors. Just make sure you’re far enough not to get blown up y🌃ourself.

Explosives also have great utility, since they can deal a lot of block damage, letting you blow holes into walls, open safes, and do other demolition tasks. Make sure you use the right explosives for the job: look for Entity damage if you want to blast enemies apart and Block damage if you're landscaping.

Percep♌tion also 🦩has The Penetrator, which lets any firearms (and bows) ignore some enemy armor regardless of what Attribute governs the weapon, and makes AP Rounds penetrate through multiple targets or even blocks.

2 Intellect

The domain of nerds and the builders of society, Intellect is pretty important since it houses the skills that allow you to most efficiently create advanced tech, traps, and vehicles. If you want fancy base defenses with all sorts of traps and turrets so that you can 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:fight off the gnarliest hordes, or the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:vehicles to get away from them you’ll want to go into Intellect.

Not all NPC traders are created equally.

Intellect's associated weapon Batons, seem lackluster at first glance. However if you build into it and grab ranks of Electrocutioner, Electric Batons get quite potent, even into the later game stages. Provided that you have the patience to get it there.

Intellect is also the way to go if you want to gain power through social skills. Charismatic is the best perk to have when you play with other players, since it increases their hardiness, power, and efficency. Conversely, Better Barter and The Daring Adventurer 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:make NPC interactions more lucrative, since they make prices better and give bet🌞ter quest rewards, respectively. Physician will not only keep you and your friends alive, but you can also use that knowledge to more efficiently kꦫill zombies with your batons.

1 Strength

Intelligence may be the way to go if you want to recreate civilization, b✅ut with Strength, you’ll have everything you need to go without it. Strength is the best attribute to solo with, and it’s not too shabby in groups, either.

You’ll be able to carry more, run out of stamina less, and harvest non-tech resources more efficiently. Your combat options are robust at mid-to-close range and will support you from your first spawn to your days in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the triple digits, covering shotguns, clubs, and sledgeh🐼ammers — all of which are easy to find and make.

Clubs in parti𓆏cular deserve special notice since they are one of the few weapon-specific perks that have effects beyond more efficient stamina use and stamina recovery 💦on kills, dealing bonus damage after a set amount of hits.

Heavy Armor ensures that you can outlast your foes, and if you get jumped while you're using a harvesting tool (pickaxe, axe, shovel, chainsaw, or auger), a higher Strength score means more damage with those tools. Also, as the Strength guy, you have the Master Chef perk, which makes you the most efficient cook in the game, since you not only do it faster, but also with fewer ingredients.
