The forge is a key component in many projects, whether it's ammo crafting, vehicle crafting, or building up your base to defend against a massive sea of zombies. The Crucible is an important iteꦜm to retrieve for this, and it's q꧟uite difficult to obtain.

How To Get A Crucible

The Crucible is an enhancement to the Forge that💙 unlocks the most complex and high-level recipes - with a Crucible, the For✨ge is limited to its base collection of recipes.

There are only two ways to obtain a Crucible:

Purchase it from a trader for 15,000 Dukes. This is more commonly found if you have invested points into the Better Barter skill.
Craft it, which requires a maxed out Forge Ahead stat, which in-turn requires reading 75 Forge Ahead magazines.

The more Forge Ahead magazines you read, the better your chances of f♌inding more in loot boxes, especially those that are book-related, so this huge number of magazines isn't as intim𝓡idating as it seems.

The Crucible must also be crafted at a Workbench and requires the following items:

Forged Iron	100	Created in the forge using Iron and Clay.
Mechanical Parts	20	Found in many loot locations but can also be easily obtained by salvaging mechanical items with a Wrench or other salvage tool.
Small Stone	1,200	Picked up and mined from rock veins.
Clay Soil	900	Dug up from regular ground using a shovel.
Oil	20	Often found in trash and in cars, and can be obtained by salvaging cars to🎃o. Can also be crafted at a Chemistry Station using Oღil Shale.
