Finding Clay Soil itsel𝔉f is pretty easy to do, either by getting it yourself or looting it, but Clay Soil and Clay are considered two different things. Clay Soil isn't going to make those metal bars, so we'll show you how to get both and start upgrading your arsenal.
How To Get Clay Soil
To get large amounts of Clay consistently, you'll first need a Shovel, and you'll likely get your first Shovel by getting the tutorial quest for jobs from Trader Rekt at the start of the game.
You can also occasionally find small amounts of Clay in lootables like trash cans and piles of trash throughout the world.
If you scrap it or left it behind by accident, you can also craft them with five Small Stones, three Plant Fiber, and three Wood once you've read at least one Tools Digest magazine.
From there, just find any terrain and start digging with the Shovel. You'll get small amounts of Clay and some Small Stones each time you dig, though you'll get the best amounts only by digging through the topsoil. Once you hit the ground with 500 HP, you've gone too far.
You can increase the amount of Clay you get when digging by reading Tools D🌞igest magazines and increasing the tier of Sho🎶vels you can make.
How To Make Clay
Now you've got some Clay Soil, but this isn't the same Clay you'll need for certain recipes like Forged Iron and Forged Steel – for this, you'll need a Forge, which is made with:
- 50 Cobblestone Rocks.
- One Wood Log.
- Ten Leather.
- Three Duct Tape.
- Three Short Iron Pipe.
Place the Forge somewhere, then interact with it and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:fill its 💖fuel inventory with some Coal you've found. Next, put the Clay Soil in the Smelting Inventory, beneath where the fuel goes, and turn the Forge on. It will begin converting at a rate of one Clay Soil into five Clay every five seconds if you don't have any Forge upgrades.
All of the materials smelted down in the Forge will stay inside its own Smelting inventory, including the Clay, and they'll be available to use from there without needing to take them in or out.
