Halo Community Director Brian Jarrard has squashed rumors that Halo 5: Guardians will be getting a PC port at some point in the future. Halo 5 was one of several titles revealed by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the recent GeForce Now leak, but at the time of writing developer🎶 343 Industr💜ies currently has no plans to bring the game to PC.
Jarrard revealed the news on Twitter ꦑearlier today, responding to two Halo fans eager to see a P🐲C port of Halo 5. According to Jarrard, 343 Industries is apparently "fully focused on Infinite and MCC" and that a port is "not in the cards". However, Jarrard also says "never say never", giving those with their fingers crossed for a port in the future a glimmer of hope.
GeForce Now's leak has caused speculation on social media to kick into overdrive, with many wondering whether the leak is legit and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:what it means for the future of ga🧸ming. Several high-profile franchises were included in the leak, including several Xbox-owned 🐟properties like Gears of War, Fable, and Halo.
Nvidia has since 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:released a statement about the leak, claiming that the list is genuine but titles on it are speculative. Couple Nvidia's statement with Jar💫rard's and the list starts to become a lot less credible. There are likely some projects on the list that are genuinely being developed, but it's difficult to separate fact from fiction at this time.
Halo 5 might not be getting a PC port any time soon, but today's news doesn't mean this isn't a great time for Halo fans. Halo Infinite's launch is only a couple of months away, and Halo Insiders will actually be able to try out the game's multiplayer later this month. 343 recently confirmed that all Halo Insiders will be invited to the game's next multiplayer🧜 preview session on September 24.
