In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:3 Body Problem, Jess Hong and Jovan Adepo play characters who approach difficult things in opposite ways. Hong's Jin is confident in her ability to change the world, but Adepo's Saul doesn't think much of himself at all. In his evolution as a character, any corners he turns are corners he was backed into. Both are brilliant scientists, but only Jin has the drive to put that brilliance to world-saving use when the show's stakes reveal themselves.
"[Jin and I] have a similar outlook on life sometimes. So, it wasn't too hard to marry my expressions and her expressions together," Hong says over Zoom, in reference to the little physical details that bring Jin's confidence to life.

3 Body Problem Interview: Bringing Ye Wenjie To♉ Life Across Timelines
Rosalind Chao and Zine Tseng play the same character in the new Netflix series, but separate🌠d by decades.
"She's super driven. She is actually, I realized, an idealist. Even though she's a hard science snob, she does have this hope for the future, and she always moves through the world with this optimism. That's why she drives forward so relentlessly. She's much more hardworking than I am, though."
That work ethic is necessary given the threat humanity is staring down in 3 Body Problem. The series begins by introducing several threads that, initially, don't seem related. Science is broken. All known laws of nature are no longer proving true in laboratory settings — a subject of major concern since the friend group at the story's core is largely made up of scientists. A mysterious countdown is appearing before some people's eyes. They don't know what it's counting down to, but those who see it seem to keep turning up dead. And a futuristic VR headset shows up out of nowhere. Jin and Jack Rooney (John Bradley) begin playing with it, and soon find another mystery within the mystery.
With so many threads, it's easy to see why Jin is eager to weave them together. Saul isn't, mostly staying out of the spotlight as the events of the show progress. Adepo doesn't see himself in Saul in the same way Hong sees herself in Jin. "He's absolutely the exact opposite of how I would carry my own life," he says during the same Zoom conversation. But, he does know someone like Saul, someone who has evident talent, but isn't making the most of it.
"There is somebody in my life that has all of the tools to be successful, has the talent, has all of the necessary pieces, like the right stuff, but he just hasn't quite put it all together in a way where he can actually move and make things happen," Adepo says. "And so I think that's really where I started to work with Saul in that… he's obviously very gifted, he just is lacking that special variable that really pushes him into challenging himself. That was a fun thing to play and it was kind of cool even in the beginnings of the story to be able to be aloof in comparison to my more driven colleagues."
The character's laid back, internal nature is a welcome break for Adepo, who has played more intensely physical parts in the past. Whether as Hooded Justice in Watchmen, as Marcus Bishop in Jack Ryan, or as the trumpet player Sidney Palmer in Babylon, his roles have often been defined by physical presence more than mental acuity. Adepo doesn't mind the change. "It was awesome," he jokes. "It was like I was able to eat all the snacks I wanted and just learn my lines."
All eight episodes of 3 Body Problem premiere on Netflix on March 21st.
