It’s hard to deny that has had a tough time these last few years. Recent Xbox exclusives were, for the most part, a huge bust. Combine this w🐽it🐓h the middling quality of its releases, and we’re looking at a pretty bad situation for Xbox to be in.
We’re Starting To See Signs Of An Xbox Comeback
It’s not all doom and gloom, though. It might not seem like it right now, and many have previously expressed hopes that Xb🉐ox would stage a major comeback over the last few years only to be disappointed, but I think 2025 💙might actually be Xbox’s year.
Last year, I wrote that my Xbox year in review reminded me that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:I basica𒐪lly haven’t🥀 touched my Xbox at all in 2024. Now, for the first time, I’m actually making heavy use of my Xbox, and I’m happy to do so.
Add to that the fact that Xbox actually did have some big wins in the last bit of the year. While 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 didn’t do very well, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, while both ridden with bugs at release, turned out to be hits with fans. And the start of 2025 will bring us in February, which is shaping up to be a good one – I generally trust Obsidian to not make terrible games. We’ll also be getting Fable and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:South of Midnight. These are just the games slated fo𝄹r this year, though. Other games that we saw at last year’s Xbox Games Showcase are also very exciting (Perfect Dark, anyone?), but aren’t confirmed to be exclusives.

Xbox Needs A Win, And 2025 Might Be It
Xbox has definitely been faltering in the past few years, having failed to build momentum after a series of releases ranging from lackluster to outright bad, souring its relationship with consumers and making many wonder if Xbox has all that much value outside of Game Pass, which you can access on PC anyway. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Like my colleague James Troughton, I have seriously considered selling my Xbox.
But I’m not thinking about doing that anymore, and I suspect that many players are pretty excited for the next year of Xbox’s lineup a♔nd the other things it has in store. While, sure, with a little patience, many of these games will probably reach other platforms, I’m actually excited for theꦓ first time in a long time to play first-party Xbox games. It’s been a long time since Xbox has managed to not fumble the bag by immediately killing its own hype upon a single game’s release.
I might regret saying this. I regret saying a lot of things, especially when I make predictions on the internet that turn out to be completely wrong because of factors out of my control. Like, I don’t think any of us knew that would be as mid as it ended up being. But I have a good feeling that my Xbox will finally start getting the use it deserve𓄧s this year. I won’t be thinking about selling it for a while, at the very least.
